Powdered milk tested for antibiotics

The Republican State Enterprise “Center for Sanitary – epidemiological expertise” of the Medical Center of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in international comparison studies organized by the Analytical Department of the Food Industry of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Similar accredited Centers from 17 countries took part in these tests. RSE “Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Expertise” was the only representative from the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The subject of the study was 15 samples of milk powder for the presence of antibiotics. Currently, the test results are sent to the organizers in the city of Munich (Germany).

The results of interlaboratory comparisons will be announced later.
